Harvest from the wildest part of New Zealand, we bring you the purest Manuka honey.
Originally from Tahiti, we moved to Aotearoa (New Zealand) in 2014, bringing with us a deep passion for beekeeping. Inspired by New Zealand’s unique environment, we decided to immerse ourselves in the local honey industry, with a special focus on producing one of the best Manuka honey in New Zealand. Over time, our apiaries have expanded throughout the region, helping to meet the growing demand for high-quality honey. Today, we are proud to offer pure Manuka honey that reflects our commitment to sustainability and the natural beauty of this land. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to share our honey with the world, now also offering Manuka honey online for our customers near and far
While there are many types of honey around the world, Manuka honey is truly unique. Sourced from the native forests of Aotearoa, our bees gather pollen from the Manuka tree, a plant that thrives in this pristine environment. The rich, unspoiled whenua (land) of New Zealand provides a perfect habitat for our bees, where they can forage in areas free from the influence of intensive agriculture. This ensures that the honey we produce is not only pure Manuka honey in NZ, but also reflects the natural, untouched beauty of our land, delivering exceptional quality and health benefits that are unique to this special environment.
The story of AHA Honey begins with a special partnership between our family and dear friends. The name AHA is a tribute to the ones who inspire us every day—our children. We came up with the name by combining the first letters of their names: Akitahi, Heidi, and Ameliya. It’s a reminder of the love and unity that brought us together and continues to drive our passion for beekeeping. From these humble beginnings, we set out to produce the best Manuka honey in New Zealand, working hand-in-hand with our friends and community to craft honey that reflects the natural beauty and purity of our land.
